A couple of weeks ago my dear friend Mekette bought five beautiful young plants for her studio, and I felt compelled to use them as ‘life drawing’ models in our art club. The kids intensely observed them, carefully sketch them and coloured them with colour pencils. Once they were happy with the drawings, we decided to make some overlaying ‘interventions’ using a ‘no-threading’ needle (genius invention!!!) and colour threads…and here they are!
