Three explainers for HM’s Carbon Capture technology.

We were tasked by Blast to create three animations explaining some new carbon capture technologies as part of Heidelberg Materials CCUS (Carbon Capture Utilisation & Storage). They were to be included in a new portal covering HM’s pioneering progress in carbon capture. No visual reference existed other than some previous hand drawn explainers and a few diagrams, it was up to us to decipher these complex processes and come up with a visual style that not only explained them in an easily digestable way, but also represent the technology as clean & green. Everything was modelled from scratch, giving the overall look a bespoke feel.
